Healthy Alcohol as a Path Towards a Happier World

According to a Google search, excessive intake of alcohol can lead to chronic health diseases such as High blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, liver disease, and digestive problems. Cancer of the breast, mouth, throat, esophagus, voice box, liver, colon, and rectum. As a result, there is a negative impact that affects economically at a personal, organizational, and society. We cannot stop selling liquor overnight. It is a bad habit that people are addicted to. The frustrating fact with this problem is the negative impact this has on their families and young children. I want to take an optimistic approach and present my solution here.

I am not a scientist by any measure. But why am I optimistic about finding a solution for this? I believe in the ability of great scientists of our times to have tackled an issue of similar importance/significance. If we can invent a vaccine to prevent a pandemic like COVID-19 in about a year, I believe they can also invent a solution for this on a similar timeline. We will have to place our complete faith in them.

Instead of facing the challenges and acting proactively, if we respond passively, we will find ourselves stuck in the same problem. I propose a paradigm that transforms this entire issue. We as humanity should invent a “healthy alcohol alternative recipe” that brings the “kick” (the same effects alcohol has on our brain chemistry). Still, in reality, it’s like a vitamin drink that nourishes us. I recall a quote from Marisa Mayes: “Creativity loves constraints.” I know there will be a lot of constraints in this journey, but if we move forward together, we can break free of the constraints.

I end with this note: my dream is to build a more merrier world.
